You need someone to navigate an old falling apart ship carrying various alien creatures, some of which could tear down the walls of the ship with little diffuculty, through an asteroid field. Then look no further than Bell, Al's ship pilot and wife. She has the skill to pilot through any situation without so much as scratching the paint. Other than piloting, she also loves fishing. So she always take a chance to fish on any planets they're stopped. Earth having become one of her favorites recently.
